A 57-year old man is expected to make a full recovery after being shot multiple times by his 19-year old girlfriend who confessed to the shooting and was treated for minor injuries after she described as being “dragged by a vehicle during a disagreement.”
Around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, a Paris Regional Health Center worker that was arriving at work, noticed a gunshot victim exiting his vehicle and provided the victim assistance in the hospital ER.
According to reports, 19-year old Dulce Esmerelda Chavez of Paris confessed to the shooting.
“Chavez was treated for minor injuries from what she described as being dragged by a vehicle driven by the gunshot victim,” said police.
The man was treated for multiple gunshot wounds and is expected to make a full recovery.
The violence occurred in the 2500 block of Graham Street and resulted from disagreements in their dating relationship.
