Last year, six-year old Liam Armbrust raised $600 for CitySquare Paris through his lemonade stand and this year, he not only surpassed that figure raising $700 but it was then doubled thanks to an anonymous donor.
“So proud of our boy, he raised $700 for CitySquare Paris,” said mom Lauren Armbrust. “Thank you to everyone who came and gave your donation to this amazing organization. We can’t wait to do it again next year.”
With final numbers in from Liam’s Lemonade Stand on July 8, Derald Bulls, executive director of CitySquare announced the money had been matched, dollar for dollar.
“CitySquare tips our collective hats to Master Liam Armbrust on another successful Lemonade Stand Saturday.” said Bulls. “With the help of parents, grandparents, neighbors, friends, and strangers, he stopped by to drop off his proceeds of $700 to serve those neighbors we serve! With the kindness of an anonymous donor, Liam’s total doubled to $1400! Thank you so much! Liam said he would like to continue doing the stand until he is 33 years old.”
A proud Armbrust said, “Love my little guys servant heart, thankful his lemonade stand helps several people In need.”
