A total of 112 East Texas A&M University student-athletes in the fall sports of cross country, football, soccer, and volleyball were named to the Southland Conference Fall 2024 Commissioner’s Honor Roll on Wednesday. The 112 honorees are the most for the Lions in a semester since joining the Southland Conference.
The Fall Commissioner’s Honor Roll list recognizes student-athletes in the sports of men’s cross country, women’s cross country, football, soccer, and volleyball, who earned a minimum of a 3.0 GPA and were eligible to compete in the sport during the Fall 2024 semester.
For the Lions, the football team led the way with 64 honorees, followed by 18 from soccer, 14 from volleyball, 10 from men’s cross country, and 6 from women’s cross country.
The 112 honorees for the Lions this fall surpass the 100 from last spring for the most in the institution’s time in the Southland Conference.
