Wolfe City Fire Department responded to one of the rarest and more special calls a responder will make – where they helped deliver a baby in the early morning hours of March 26. The healthy baby boy was delivered in the early morning hours of March 26 with the help of Wolfe City Fire Department’s members and is reportedly doing well.
Just a few minutes after the delivery, American Medical Response Hunt County transported the mom and baby to the hospital. Both baby Preston and mom are reportedly doing well.
The crew who responded to the active labor call on early March 26 include Wolfe City Fire Department’s Chief Gene Dawson, Firefighters Chris George and Rodney Riebenhoff, and Captains Geoff Morgan and Bryan Dawson.
