Higgins and Everett Elementary both held presidential elections in conjunction with the nation’s general election.
Voters at Higgins consisted of Pre-K through first-grade students. The third grade Gifted and Talented students conducted the presidential election for all the second and third-grade students at Everett. The students were required to “register” to vote before submitting a ballot to vote for the presidential candidate of their choice.
The final numbers at Higgins were 186 for Trump and 47 for Biden. Everett was similar with 158 for Trump and 40 for Biden.
