Paris police officers responded to the parole office around 8:30 a.m. Monday morning, regarding the warrant arrest of Marcus Hooker. John Berry, Paris Police Lt., said Hooker was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant. Hooker was placed under arrest and booked in to the Lamar County Jail.

Earlier that morning, around 8 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of W Kaufman in regards to another warrant arrest. “Officers made contact with Jayquan Tennon who was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant,” said Berry. Tennon was placed under arrest for the warrant and two other misdemeanor warrants.

A third warrant arrest was made later that afternoon, around 4 p.m., as officers made contact with Christopher Reed in the 1200 block of Hearon Street. “Reed was found to have an outstanding warrant for burglary of a habitation and was placed under arrest for the warrant,” Berry stated. The warrant relates to an incident dating back to January 27th, where Reed was alleged to have entered a residence in the 700 block of SE 12th Street and took several items.
