A Texas man has offered 100 acres for free to Elon Musk, in hopes the Tesla CEO would move Twitter’s headquarters to the Lone Star State.
Jim Schwertner, in a Tweet, asked Musk to move Twitter’s headquarters to Schwertner, Texas, just 38 miles north of Austin.

On Monday, Texas Governor Greg Abbott also encouraged Musk to move Twitter’s HQ to Texas. Abbott’s tweet received more than 127,000 likes and nearly 11,000 retweets.
“Bring Twitter to Texas to join Tesla, SpaceX and the Boring company,” Abbott’s tweet said.

Whether Musk plans to move Twitter’s HQ to Texas is still yet to be seen. If he decides to make the move, Twitter will then join other social media giants Meta and TikTok who are both in downtown Austin.
