A Go Fund Me has been set up for baby Hutson who was air lifted to Cooks Children’s in Ft Worth after he had stopped breathing on Monday night.
“They were under the impression that they would probably just be observed for 24 hours and be sent home. As they got to him at Cooks they were already having to give him oxygen. They tried the nose cannula first and then had to switch him to the bubble CPAP machine. They finally tried to ween him from that but he was still having episodes of not breathing and turning blue. He has been admitted to the PICU,” the established GoFundMe fundraiser reads.
Joey and Gavin Tatom, the parents of 6-day-old baby Hutson, have served as first responders along with his grandparents, Reno PD Officer Johnny Bangs and retired dispatcher Kelly Bangs, and great grandfather, Bogata VFD Chief Jerry Hutson.
“Needless to say, he was born into a first responder family who’ve been there for countless people over many years,” the Go Fund Me reads. “Please help this sweet family as they are missing work and staying with baby Hutson in Ft. Worth.”
