Paris Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred early Tuesday morning leaving two injured after being struck with a handgun.
Shortly after 2 a.m., police responded to the 1000 block on NE 16th Street in reference to a robbery call.
“The victims reported that three black males entered the residence wearing gloves and masks and demanded to know where the money was,” said Officer Curtis Garrett. “One suspect brandished a handgun and then struck a female that lived at the residence.”
According to reports, the three suspects then left the residence and encountered the male of the residence outside, demanding money from him before also striking him with the pistol.
The three suspects then ran away and the incident is under investigation.
