NL students named to Freshman All-Region Band || North Lamar fills most spots

The ninth grade band students from North Lamar High School competed in the Region 4 All-Region Clinic and Concert on Saturday, December 8 at Paris Junior High School.

North Lamar had more students earn spots in the Freshman All-Region Band than any other school.

Participating schools were Mt. Pleasant, Marshall, Pine Tree, Texas High and Sulphur Springs.

Participating students from North Lamar, beginning front row left, are Cydney Dean– Tuba; Mackenna Miller – Bass Clarinet; Spencer Escobedo – Tuba; Brady Garrison– Percussion; Tony Delarosa – Tuba; Landree Rogers-Clay – Oboe; Hannah Semanek – Clarinet; Richard Penny – Bass Trombone; Xander Wilson – Trombone;Joseph Franklin – Bassoon; Michael Bright – Baritone; Kelsey Beach – French Horn;Hilton Bounds – Trombone; Isla Taber – Clarinet; Faith Stidham – Flute; and Allie Campbell – Flute.

The North Lamar High School Band is under the direction of director Randy Jones,associate director Jason R. Smith and percussion director Justin Caldwell.
