Fifty-five Honey Grove Beta members attended the State Beta Convention at the Gaylord Texan Hotel in Grapevine on Feb. 22-23.
At the convention, Ben Patrick was elected the State Beta Vice-President.
“This is the 4th year in a row that the newly elected Vice-President is from Honey Grove,” said Hone Grove ISD. “During the convention, Ben campaigned against four other candidates and presented a speech and answered a question.”
The club also performed a campaign skit to promote Ben.
Patrick will run for National Officer this summer at the National Beta Convention in Ft. Worth.
Preston Morris and Hudson Stroud also placed in the visual arts competition during the convention and will compete this summer at the National Convention.
