Congratulations Eric Dickey & Anna Grace Matthews

Tell us about the proposal: Eric swore up and down that he wouldn’t propose on our anniversary or a holiday because that was too obvious. So on our year anniversary, he brought me flowers to work and we planned on going to Sherman to eat.
I was running late at work so I rushed home and rushed to get ready. I went outside to get something out of my car and my cousins were outside and then Eric pulled into the driveway. I was confused but I was in such a hurry I didn’t think anything of it. Eric got out and had a shoebox with him. It was a memory box that had all our movie tickets, concert tickets, notes, anything I had given him or we had done together. He started naming some of the things in there, including the first Bible I gave him, and then he said “and I want to make one more memory” and he got down on one knee! It was so sweet!
What’s been the most exciting part of planning a wedding so far? Definitely the dress. A lot of the other stuff can get stressful, but to me the dress has been a dream experience the whole time. I can’t wait to wear it!
