#endhumantrafficking 5K Fundraiser set for May 7, benefits Pure Hope Foundation

A 5K showing light to #endhumantrafficking is set for May 7 at Trail de’ Paris.

As the second #endhumantrafficking 5K, this year’s theme verse is Ephesians 5:8, “For at one time you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light.”

The 5K will start at 9 a.m., and it is recommended to arrive early to sign in. There will be prizes for first and second places for men and women.

Children under 10 will run for free, children tickets ages 10-18 are $30 and $40 for adults. 5K admissions include a t-shirt.

All the proceeds will be donated to Pure Hope Foundation, an organization that works to strengthen families and restore survivors of sex trafficking.
