When Savana Waller of Cooper, Texas, was asked where she wanted to take her college graduation photos, there was no question in her mind; Dairy Queen.
“Pretty much everyone that knows me knows how much I love Cooper’s Dairy Queen,” said Waller. “So I thought it was only appropriate to take my graduation pictures at the place that has helped me through college. I always joke that I help pay their light bill with as much as I go there.”
After the photo shoot, photographer Cayson Spinks shared the photos online, and it didn’t take long for Dairy Queen TX to notice and share.
Sharing the photos to their social media with over 11 million followers, Dairy Queen wrote, “WOOOOO! Way to crush college @savana_waller! We can’t think of a better place to celebrate.”
“Oh, I didn’t know what to do with myself,” said Waller when she saw they shared her photos. “I thought that was pretty dang cool. If only they knew how many times they’ve kept me fed.”
Waller recently graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce and will now attend Parker University, obtaining her Doctor of Chiropractic.
“I was joking with someone the other day saying maybe I could be the first chiropractor to have an office joined to a Dairy Queen. Who knows what could happen.”
So, what are Waller’s favorite items off the menu? “Cheeseburger and an Oreo Blizzard are my favorite things.”
