The two persons of interest wanted for questioning in regard to what’s being investigated as a double homicide have been captured, according to Lamar County Sheriff’s Office.
LCSO reported James Elrod III and Caroly Elrod as the two identified persons of interest, who had outstanding warrants for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
Monday afternoon, April 26, LCSO deputies responded to a deceased person call in the N.W. portion of Lamar County, where the bodies of a female and male were found.
The names of the deceased continue to be withheld. LCSO and Texas Rangers’ investigation continues.
