Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue will have an adoption event behind All Things Coffee & Books, 138 Lamar Ave., from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 23, during the Festival of Pumpkins in Downtown Paris.
There will be all sizes of puppies and dogs available for adoption.
“Come see us and find your fur-ever friend,” Adoption Coordinator Sheri Ashford said.
All dogs require applications to ensure the pet “is a right fit for your family, and if you lease or rent your home we must have approval from the landlord to adopt.”
Basic adoption fees of $150 cover all vetting – vet check for health, heartworm test, shots, wormer, spay/neuter, microchip for life and flea/tick/heartworm med.
During the organization’s adoption event, Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue will also sell circus tickets for its Culpepper & Merriweather Circus fundraiser which will be on Oct. 24.
