Prairiland ISD’s 50th Annual FFA Livestock Show, Plant Sale, Lunch and Auction is scheduled for Saturday, April 2, with the show’s check-in from 8-9 a.m.
The livestock show begins at 10 a.m. at the Prairiland ISD’s Ag Barn for students only. Show order will be pigs, goats, lambs, steers, heifers and kiddie class. Showmanship will follow each species.
The plant sale, coinciding with the livestock show, will be from 8 a.m.-noon, 12 p.m. at Prairiland’s greenhouse.
Following the plant sale, there will be an all-you-can-eat barbecue lunch in the school’s cafeteria for $12 per plate.
The auction will start at 1:30 p.m. in the Junior High School’s Gym.
At the conclusion of the auction, they will raffle off a Springfield Hellcat. Tickets are $1 each, and you do not have to be present to win.
