Investigators with the Lamar County Sheriff’s Office, along with Angelina County Sheriff’s Office and Lufkin Police Department, have arrested 50-year-old Teresa Lyn Ross on a warrant from the Lamar County Attorney’s Office for murder.
“Ross was taken into custody on the warrant by the US Marshal’s division out of Houston, and was transported to the Harris County Jail to be arraigned and schedule transfer back to Lamar County,” said Lamar County Sheriff Scott Cass.
Ross had been detained since May 26th, 2018, for an unrelated issue while in Angelina County and on her release was taken into custody.
“I commend the case investigators for the steadfast work in bringing this to a quick resolve, also for the cooperation from the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office and Lufkin Police Department for their assistance in the investigation,” said Cass.
The investigation is on-going.
