Paris Police are investigating after a woman attempted to rob a man at gunpoint on Friday.
According to reports, around 1:03 p.m. a delivery man was delivering merchandise to ABC Auto, 2400 block of Lamar Ave.
Police say the delivery man had previously met a female in Clarksville and she made contact with him and asked to ride with him while he made his deliveries.
While delivering at ABC Auto, the man got back in the truck and the woman pointed a pistol at him and demanded money.
The delivery driver took the pistol away from her and she ran off. She got into a car with another male and fled the scene.
Red River County Sheriff Office located the car and stopped it north of Clarksville.
Paris Police are continuing the investigation.
