Red River County Sheriff’s Deputies have new uniforms thanks to a generous donation from an anonymous citizen.
“The uniforms came from a very generous donation by anonymous citizens of the county,” said department.
The money donated was used primarily to purchase cooler, more durable uniforms for officers.
Come Sunday, June 7; the uniforms will be officially changed over by the department. The department’s patches will remain the same.
Uniforms will be a khaki color with black BDU’s.
The generous donation also enabled them to get new collar brass, epaulets, and are currently looking into cowboy hats.
