Saturday, Sept 12, Paris Police made a traffic stop in the 300 block of NE 12th St, making contact with Angel Rodriguez. Rodriguez was found to have an outstanding warrant (Assault Family/Household Member with Previous Conviction) out of Grayson County. He was placed under arrest and taken to jail.

On Sunday, Sept 13, Paris police made a security check in the 1300 block of NE 10th St, making contact with Cornelius Jenkins in a vehicle. Officers could smell the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle and upon conducting a search officers located a firearm in the vehicle. Jenkins was found to be a convicted felon and was placed under arrest for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. He was taken to jail.

Early Monday morning on Sept 14, Paris police made contact with Robert Boni in the 400 block of NE 14th St. Boni was riding a bicycle at night with no lights. He was found to have an outstanding warrant out of this Department for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Boni was placed under arrest and searched. Officers found him to be in possession of methamphetamine, digital scales, and unused baggies. Boni was charged with Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance. He was taken to jail.

Paris Police responded to 354 calls for service and arrested 12 people over the weekend period.
