Paris Police were investigating a burglary of a residence and made contact with Miriah Jones in the 300 block of Washington St. Jones was found to have outstanding warrants for her arrest and was placed under arrest. Officers found Jones to be in possession of prescription pills without a prescription. She was taken to jail. No photo was available for Jones at this time.

Paris Police made contact with Bobby Gene King in the 200 block of W Kaufman St. Officers found King to be in possession of synthetic marijuana. He was placed under arrest and taken to jail.

Paris Police later responded to the 3400 block of W Campbell St. in regards to a stabbing. While en route, one officer located a subject matching the description of the suspect walking south on the NW Loop 286. The officer then made contact with the subject. The subject refused to cooperate with the officer and began threatening the officer. The officer then deployed his taser and effectively subdued the subject. The subject was identified as Jessie Sessums, who was found to have stabbed two family members at their residence. Both family members were taken to the hospital for medical treatment of the stab wounds. Sessums was placed under arrest and taken to jail.

Paris Police made contact with Delbert Seelye in the 800 block of NW 19th St. Seelye was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a glass pipe. Seelye was placed under arrest and taken to jail.

Paris Police responded to 428 calls for service and arrested 16 people over the weekend period.
