Paris Community Theatre’s newest production, Inherit The Wind three-night run begins tonight at The Lamar County Courthouse.

Inherit the Wind is an American play by Jerome Lawrence and Robert E. Lee, which debuted in 1955.

The historic Lamar County Courthouse and District Courtroom are perfect venues for the performance of this very intense legal drama depicting an actual, hard-fought, jury trial concerning a hotly debated social issue of our day.

The Paris Community Theatre is the longest continually running community theatre in Texas.

The play is being directed by a local attorney, Ms. Sydney Young.

Performances will begin tonight and run through, Saturday, and Sunday, April 21st, and 22nd.

Tickets can be purchased from The Paris Community Theatre at 903-784-4195.

Part of the proceeds goes towards the Lamar County Children’s Welfare Board.
