Around 4 p.m. Wednesday evening, Paris police officers responded to the 1800 block of Maple regarding a burglary complaint.
“It was reported that a known suspect had forced entry into the complainant’s residence and then assaulted the complainant causing minor injury,” said Paris police Lt. John Berry.
The suspect left the scene prior to police arrival.
