On Wednesday, May 20, Hallsville High School hosted a virtual speech and debate competition.
There were ten schools, bringing a total of twenty-six competitors, to compete in speech and debate events that took place throughout the day.
Davis Green competed in Lincoln Douglas and Persuasive Extemp events. He placed first in debate and third in extemp.
Davis is a sophomore at Paris High School and this is his second year to compete in the debate program.
