Paris could soon be welcoming it’s first Chick-fil-A.

According to reports, the fast-food chain is set to buy land next to Ramseur Baptist Church, 3400 Lamar Avenue, who currently owns the 6.71 acre lot set to be subdivided .

The church is proposing to subdivide the property into two lots and develop the east lot as a quick serve restaurant. It is expected that this site will be home to a Chick-Fil-A.

It was noted on the agenda for Monday’s Paris City Council meeting that the Final Plats were approved, and development can go forward.

Chick-fil-A is one of the largest American fast-food restaurant chains and the largest whose specialty is chicken sandwiches

While there hasn’t been an “official” announcement from Chick-fil-A, officials in Paris say it is no secret developers are planning on building the restaurant.
