Big bags filling the wish lists of over fifty Christmas Lamar County ‘angels’ were delivered to the Salvation Army by North Lamar ISD nurses Shanon Erickson and Jenifer Elrod.

Many of the North Lamar staff and students who adopted the angels purchased clothes, toys, shoes, blankets, and diapers that filled the wish lists of children ranging from newborn to fourteen years old.

An additional 300 pairs of socks and underwear were collected at each North Lamar campus during the district’s November ‘Socks and Undies’ Drive.  The much needed items will be added to the ‘angel’ gift bags.

“A big THANK YOU to everyone at North Lamar who helped make Christmas a little more special for the children in our schools and community,” said Erickson.
