The North Lamar ISD Board of Trustees, administration and staff will celebrate the naming of four of its buildings and complexes in a recognition ceremony on Tuesday, April 23 at 6:00 p.m. in front of the James A. Dawson Athletic Facility.  Those to be recognized are James A. Dawson, Coach Alden George, the late Roy C. Chadwick and late Lance Johnson.

“The board wants to publically recognize four individuals who have made an impact on North Lamar through the years and have since had buildings or complexes named after them,” said NLISD Board President Stephen ‘Red’ Holmes.

“Their legacy will live on through the naming of the Roy C. Chadwick Administration Building, James A. Dawson Athletic Facility, Coach Alden George Way Street and the Lance Johnson Tennis Complex.”

The district invites the public to help recognize these four individuals and their families.  Light refreshments will be served afterwards followed by the North Lamar Panthers hosting the Paris Wildcats at Pos Long Field beginning at 7:00 p.m.
