New Life PCG will host a food drive at the food pantry in Bogata beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 15.
Christy Northcutt Kennedy Rolf, who is helping organize the event, said the food drive is not based on income or where you live, anyone can get a box.
“It’s just a blessing. It will be given out at the food pantry in Bogata behind the old school. The church contacted my brother told him they had this food to donate if he wanted to come to get it and give it out,” she said.
Rolf said the organization hosted a food drive last week and each box contained items like cheese, milk, eggs, fruit, vegetables, chicken nuggets, cottage cheese, yogurt, franks, and more.
“I’m not sure if this will have the same food in it or not but we invite everyone to come on and get a gift from the Lord.”
Those wanting to get a box of food can pull up at the food pantry and volunteers will load it in your vehicle.
“There will be a semi-truck full and we will give it out till it’s all gone.”
