Marshall Dee Wolfe, 81, of Paris, passed away Friday, November 02, 2018, at his home.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Fred Fangio officiating. Burial will be made in Springhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.

Marshall, the son of Malcolm Dee & Lula H. Tidwell Wolfe, was born June 11, 1937, in Novice. On Jan. 28, 1961, he married Patsy Ann Songer, building fifty-three years of family and memories before her death on Sept. 3, 2014. He was also preceded in death by his parents, a son, Mike Wolfe on Nov. 24, 2008, and siblings, O’Gene Wolfe, Robert Wolfe and Dorothy Myers. He retired from Paris Packaging Inc. after a professional truck driving career that spanned 43 years. In May 1993, Mr. Wolfe was inducted into the National Private Truck Council Trailmobile Driver Hall of Fame in Alexandra, VA.

The ceremony was held in San Diego, CA. At that time, he had 4.56 million safe miles. At his retirement, he had a total of 4.76 million safe miles.
Marshall was a member of First Baptist Church, Paris. Survivors include a son, Larry Wolfe & wife Elaine of Belton, grandsons; Jason Wolfe & wife Heather of Belton, Matthew Wolfe & wife Amelia of Direct and Andrew Wolfe & wife Allison of Temple, a granddaughter, Lori Miller & husband
Duane of Salado, great-grandchildren; Keagan Wolfe, Kason Wolfe, Matilyn Wolfe, Kensley Wolfe, Nathaniel Wolfe and Juliana Wolfe, a sister, Margaret Wilkerson & husband Charles of Paris along with a number of cousins, nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Casket bearers will be: Jason Wolfe, Matthew Wolfe, Andrew Wolfe, Duane Miller, Keagan Wolfe, Kason Wolfe and Nathaniel Wolfe.
