Around 11 p.m. Monday night, officers responded to the 200 block of SW 2nd in regards to a security check.
“Officers made contact with 33-year-old, Marcus Hawkins, who was said to have pulled a knife and displayed it in a threatening manner toward the complainant during a verbal disturbance,” said Lt. Berry.
Hawkins was placed under arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and a misdemeanor charge.
Earlier Monday evening, around 6 p.m., Paris police officers dispatched to the 2200 block of Kaufman regarding a suspicious activity complaint.
“Officers made contact with 17-year-old, Traver Bratcher, who was found to have an outstanding parole violation warrant,” said Paris Lt. John Berry.
Bratcher was placed under arrest and also charged with two misdemeanor charges.
