Longtime WFAA Channel 8 Sports Director Dale Hansen will be visiting Paris next week to speak with Varsity Athletes, Coaches, and Administrators in Lamar County.
Hansen will be speaking on athletes making a positive difference in their community, while also touching on the good, bad and ugly of sports he has seen in his over 40 year career as a broadcaster, sports reporter and sports director.
He will also field questions from those in attendance and hopes to make a positive difference with the athletes, coaches and administrators here in our community.
Local Collegiate Hall of Fame Coach Gene Stallings and his wife will be in attendance with Coach Stallings doing the introduction of Dale Hansen.
Ronnie Nutt, who is the chairman of this event, is excited for Hansen to speak at this event and has done a wonderful job in supporting this event to make it a reality for local youth.
