The second Fright Fight Contest has crept its way into the Reno and Blossom area.
Hosted by the Reno Parks and Trail Committee, Afterlife Haunt and Greater Blossom Development Association, Fright Fight Contest entry is free and to qualify for the contest, simply register here or call 903-785-6581 by Oct. 16. Registration online is available until midnight on Oct. 16.
“We hope that everyone who decorates will enter the contest,” Amanda Willows, Reno Parks and Trail Committee member said. “Even if they aren’t interested in competing, entering will add them to the map so that families can drive around and enjoy all the awesome displays. Its a fun and safe way to spend time with family and enjoy Halloween.”
Once signups are complete, a tour map of the spooktacular houses will be available on Reno Parks and Trail Committee’s Facebook page, here.
Houses can bee added to the map after signups, however, they will not be eligible to win.
For participants outside of the Blossom and Reno city limits can still participate, just choose which of the two cities the house is representing.
Displays must be visible from the roadway, and judging will take place on Oct. 29 with winners announced on Oct. 30.
Prizes will be awarded for most original, scariest display, best animated and people’s choice.
