Paris ISD principals were recently recognized and celebrated by the Board of Trustees for the many roles they fulfill in our schools and beyond.

Through a proclamation, Governor Greg Abbott named October 2018 as Principals Month in the State of Texas.

Abbott’s proclamation celebrated school administrators for the many hats they wear in the pursuit of ensuring that every child has access to high-quality education in safe and supportive environments.

“Principals support the community, students, parents and a healthy school environment as leaders, communicators, disciplinarians, budget analysts and makers of policy mandates and initiatives,” Abbott stated in his proclamation.

Superintendent Paul Jones and the Board of Trustees joined the governor in recognizing its principals “for setting the academic tone for their schools by working collaboratively with our invaluable teachers to build high academic standards, set performance goals and utilize best practices for achieving those goals.”
