This Saturday the Lamar County Commissioners Court, in conjunction with the Texas Forestry Service and Keep Paris Beautiful Make Lamar County Shine, will be giving away a variety of FREE high quality oak tree seedlings.
Locals can stop by the south end of the Lamar County Parking lot (near the red brick) this Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
The trees are FREE and are being provided for by the Texas Forestry Service.
The trees will be distributed on a first come first served basis, so be sure to come early to get a high quality oak tree for FREE.
This is the fourth year of this program and is another great example of many people coming together to make Lamar County a better place.
