Elizabeth Virginia Williams passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019, surrounded by her family.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

She was born February 9, 1930 to Olive Bobo Justice and Lemuel Justice and grew up in the Paris area. She was a 1948, graduate of Paris High School. She married her sweetheart Cecil Irdell Williams, with whom she spent many wonderful years and experienced her greatest joy in her 4 boys – Kenneth Wayne, Larry Gene, Jerry Dale, and Jimmy Don. Cecil preceded her in death on July 31, 1982. Elizabeth worked at Kress’ downtown and later Belk’s for over 30 years and she enjoyed spending Sundays at church at United Pentecostal Church of Paris. She was a pillar of strength and unconditional love in our family and words can’t express how much she will be missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Gene.

She is survived by her children, Kenneth Williams and wife Deborah of Paris; Jerry Williams and wife Rebecca of Garland, Texas; and Jimmy Williams and wife Tami of Paris, and a daughter in law, Patty Williams. One brother, Marvin Justice and wife Connie. Her grandchildren who lovingly called her ‘Granny’: Derek, Toby, Andrew, Erika and husband Henry, Sarah, Jessica, Bud, and Amy. And her many great-grandchildren who were a blessing for her: Justin Cole, Riley June, Lily Noel, Shane Isaac, David, Elizabeth Ryan, Scarlett Elizabeth, and Logan Kai; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Casket bearers will be: Gary Owens, Justin Williams, Derek Williams, Bud Williams, Steve McFatridge and Jerry Williams.
