Drug raid yields two arrests in Paris || Marijuana, illicit THC infused edibles, over $1000.00 cash and stolen firearm seized

On Monday, January 28th, Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies executed a search warrant at an apartment complex in the 3200 block of Clarksville St. in Paris.

“Sheriff Detectives in an on-going investigation developed information that large amounts of marijuana were being sold and distributed from one of the residences,” said Sheriff Scott Cass. 

Upon execution of the search warrant, Sheriff Detectives seized a large quantity of marijuana, illicit THC infused edibles, over $1000.00 dollars in cash and a firearm reported stolen out of the Paris Police Department.

28-year-old Antonio DaQuan Epperson was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance >4G <= 400G, Possession of a Controlled Substance <1G, Possession of Marijuana >4OZ <=5lbs, Unlawful Possession of a firearm by Felon, and two unrelated traffic warrants out of Paris Police Department. Epperson is being held on a $28,000 bond.

Also arrested, 22-year old Te’Oshia Ray for Possession of a controlled substance >4G <=400G, Possession of a Controlled Substance <1G, and Possession of Marijuana >4OZ <=5lbs. Ray is being held on a $23,000 bond.

Both were transported to the Lamar County Jail.
