As the 2019 Southeastern Oklahoma FFA Rodeo Series came to a wrap over the weekend, it was a Detroit FFA member who claimed the coveted all-around title.

Competiting at the Soper FFA Rodeo, Cole Carpenter claimed victory and brought the 2019 Southeastern Oklahoma FFA Rodeo Series All-Around title home.

“Congratulations to Detroit FFA member Cole Carpenter for winning the All-Around Cowboy title and saddle at the 2019 Southeastern Oklahoma FFA Rodeo series this weekend. Great job Cole! Way to go,” said Detroit FFA on their Facebook.

To be eligible in the all-around category, competitors must score in at least two events. Carpenter competed in team roping, tie-down roping, and chute dogging.

Makenna Rodgers also competed this past weekend and placed third in the junior breakaway roping, second in the junior goats, third in the junior poles and fifth in the junior barrels.

Congratulations Carpenter and Rodgers.
