Dennis Earl Davis, 60, of Paris, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2018, at his home.
Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 26th, at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. R. A. Beshirs, Sr. officiating. Military honors will be rendered by the U. S. Army. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the home of his son, Alvin Atwood, 2419 Bonham Street.
Mr. Davis, the son of Robert & Elaine Davis, was born Dec. 13, 1957, in St. Paul, MN. He loved his country and proudly served in the U. S. Army from which he was honorably discharged. While living in Minnesota he was active in Biker’s for Christ. Dennis was a chef at Paris Junior College.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Bobby Davis, Sr., a sister, Kathy Davis, and a nephew, Bobby Davis, Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Davis, two sons, Alvin Atwood & wife Brittanee of Paris and Brian Davis of St. Paul, MN, step-children, Robert Miller and Samuel Schwab & wife Jessica, grandchildren, Collin Atwood and Annabella Atwood, step-grandchildren, Riley Schwab and Daisy Miller, three sisters, Roberta, Sherrie and Rori along with a number of nieces & nephews.
