If you’re a fan of the epic ‘Thriller’ music video from Michael Jackson, this may be something to perk up about. Britney Drake of Britney’s Steppin’ Out Dance Studio is bringing a special guest choreographer to Paris to teach locals about the dance that has stood the test of time.

“I received information about Marcea Lane through my old dance studio in Dallas. I thought it would be neat for Paris, to have her,” said Drake

Drake quickly began to make arrangements to get the choreographer to Paris and teach those ‘Thriller’ fans the moves that made the video a cult classic alongside the song.

“I always hear Thriller at our local events and thought how cool it would be to learn the real choreography! She (Lane) is like a celebrity being that she worked with the KING Of POP,” added Drake.

The workshop will be breaking down all the steps from the original choreography from the music video Thriller. Lane will also be sharing what it was like to work for Micheal Jackson as his backup dancer.

“The workshop is for everyone,” said Drake.

So, it is not just her dancers that get the opportunity to learn a few moves. The workshop will be held on Sat. Nov. 2, from 12-2 p.m.

Those interested in taking part can contact Britney Drake through bsodstudio@gmail.com. The cost for the class will be $65, and spots are limited.

“Anyone who loves Michael Jackson can come and learn! We are going to have fun,” said Drake.
