The Paris-Lamar County Health District on Wednesday confirmed a 65-year old woman has died from coronavirus related causes.
Executive Director Gina Prestridge said this death is not related to any nursing homes and is the seventh coronavirus related death in Lamar County.
On Apr, 29, officials reported the first coronavirus related in Lamar County that was associated with the coronavirus outbreak at the Paris Healthcare Center nursing home facility. Since the beginning of the outbreak, five residents of Paris Healthcare Center have died; the three latest deaths are not related.
At this time, there are 105 positive coronavirus cases in the county, however, 24 have recovered. Of those cases, seven are travel-related and 98 are community spread.

Age 10-19: 2 male, 1 female
Age 20-29: 1 male, 7 females
Age 30-39: 6 males, 5 females
Age 40-49: 4 males, 11 females
Age 50-59: 5 males, 8 females
Age 60-69: 14 males, 16 females
Age 70-79: 5 males, 9 females
Age 80 plus: 6 males, 5 females
On Tuesday, officials said there are 20 tests pending from local nursing homes.
