The Carson and Barnes Circus returns to Paris on Friday, April 5th, and its dinosaur-themed “Circus Saurus” will include performing elephants.
“With the dawn of a new day comes a new era under the Big Top, and those that were once extinct will re-emerge again – right before your eyes,” said Carson and Barnes Circus on their website.
Locals will get to encounter the trio of Deinonychus – Rumble, Rascal and Rebel – who will transport you back in time and show you why dinosaurs ruled the land!
“The extinct giants of the past and the endangered Asian elephants of today clash under the Big Top in this high thrilling adventure.”
Presented in traditional “Big Top” style, America’s oldest family-owned Circus brings animals and acrobats, clowns and daredevils, and a little old-time Circus Magic to more than 200 American cities each year.
Showtimes are 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 5th at the Lamar County Fairgrounds.
The Midway opens one hour before showtime with a Free Petting Zoo, plus Elephant rides.
