Carl Rhodell Casey, 93, of Paris passed away Sunday January 28, 2018 at Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday February 3, 2018 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Casey officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service from 1 until 2 pm.
Carl was born in Powderly April 19, 1924 son of Ted and Pearl Adams Casey. He married Christine Chadwick in Chicota on March 21, 1950. He served his country in the Army during WWII in the Philippines and was later employed by Mrs. Baird’s Bakery as a route salesman where he retired.
He was preceded in death by his wife Christine; his parents Ted and Pearl Casey; 3 brothers, Othel, Buddy and Charles Casey.
He is survived by his son Phillip Casey and wife Rachelle of Carrollton; daughter, Linda Casey of Mesquite; grandchildren Bryan Casey and wife Amber, Blair Casey, Cody Casey, Chrystal Casey, Candic Nichols and husband Michael, 9 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Granddaughter and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bryan Casey, Blair Casey, Cody Casey, Isaiah Casey, Nathan Vanderwilt and Derek Vanderwilt.
