Bikers to ride for St. Jude Children’s Hospital

Local bikers are coming together Saturday, May 19 for the first annual Cruzin for Carmen ride and to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.  The event is in memory of Carmen who lost her battle with cancer last May.

Bikers from all over are invited to meet at North Lamar High School at 3201 Lewis Lane in Paris.  Kick stands will go up at 9:30 a.m. and the group will ride to Walmart in Sulphur Springs where other bikers will join in on the ride.

The journey will continue to Efurd Orchards in Pittsburg for homemade ice cream before arriving back in Paris at Paris Biker Church located at 901 19th St. NW around 1:30 p.m.

A silent auction will be open all day at the church to bidders until 4:00 p.m. Following will be a presentation to a representative from St. Jude.

Bikers can pay $10 per person to ride or $25 for a T-shirt and to ride. For more information, contact Lisa at 903.573.6152 or Paris Biker Church at 903.495.4583.
