Are you brave enough to walk Reno’s Haunted Trail?

If you thought walking the trail in Reno at night was scary enough, then just wait till this weekend at the 3rd Annual Reno’s Haunted Trail presented by The Reno Parks and Trail Committee

The mile-long haunted trail of thrills and terror will be ready for those brave enough to take on the challenge this Friday and Saturday night, Oct. 4 and 5 from 7-11 p.m.

“The Haunted Trail will be scarier than ever this year. We have new groups and our veteran groups that are ready to terrify each and every person that comes through. This is a mile of thrills and terror they will never forget.”, said Reno Parks and Trails Committee member Amanda Willows.

Then those brave enough will be taken to the entrance to the Haunted Trail at Keywest Road. Groups will be sent down the Haunted Trail for a shockingly good time and will have to face their fears through the various wooded sections.

“They will have no idea what to expect from one moment to the next. They will then be picked up at the end at Airport Road.” Willows added.

There will also be plenty of fun to be had at Reno City Hall with music, games, and more for those who don’t want to walk.

Each night the journey begins at Reno City Hall, and admission will cost $10 per person. This event is not recommended for small children or the faint of heart.

This event is unique and is an exciting start to the Halloween season. Businesses, organizations, sports teams, and individuals volunteer their time to scare and haunt the trail to raise money for the Reno Parks and Trail Committee.

Proceeds help fund park and playground equipment, as well as several family friendly events the committee hosts at no cost to the community.
