Angie M. Thompson, 87, of Edgewood

Angie M. Thompson, 87, of Edgewood, passed away Monday, June 25, 2018, at her home.

Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 28th, at the Evergreen Chapel with Rev. Larry Bridges officiating. A formal visitation is not scheduled, however, friends may pay their respects at the funeral home. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date in Edgewood.

Mrs. Thompson, the daughter of Walter & Dora Marler Longcrier, was born Jan. 28, 1931, in Oklahoma.

She worked a number of years in the service industry as a waitress and in the cafeterias of Paris schools. Angie was a member of the Blossom Church of God and attended Sunday School at the First Baptist Church of Edgewood where she also participated in game day. She was a member of the Tawakoni Bingo Club and enjoyed spending time with her friends there.

She married William “Bill” Thompson, and he preceded her in death on April 21, 2002. She was also preceded in death by two children, David Eugene Allen and Vickie Lee Cuttill.

Survivors include two daughters; Dee Donovan & husband Bud of Edgewood and Shirley Morrow, twelve grandchildren, several great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren, along with a number of nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
